October is bringing another busy run of live music to India, with the Ziro Festival, and major touring acts and homegrown favourites taking over stages across the country. From Gurdas Maan and Indian Ocean to A.R. Rahman and Opeth, along with a packed run of electronic showcases, these are the gigs to have on your radar over the next three weeks.

1. FanSocial: Discover — Pratika, Fox In The Garden, Ruhdabeh & Akash Tripathi
Sept. 23 — Mumbai — Khar SOCIAL
FanSocial’s Discover brings together four emerging acts across hip-hop, indie rock, indie pop and dance-pop, with Pratika, Ruhdabeh, Fox In The Garden and Akash Tripathi on the bill.
2. Ziro Festival — 2026 Edition
Sept. 24 – 27 — Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh
Ziro Festival returns to Arunachal Pradesh with a wide-ranging lineup featuring Sukhbir, Midival Punditz, Parikrama, Karan Kanchan, Shakthisree Gopalan, Vedan, Sneha Khanwalkar, Yohani and more. The four-day festival brings independent and contemporary Indian music to the Ziro Valley once again.
3. Twin Strings — Karwaan India Tour

Twin Strings continue their Karwaan India tour with a run of dates across the country, taking their indie-pop sound and live set to Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad.

5. Akhil Sachdeva — Homecoming India Tour

Akhil Sachdeva’s Homecoming tour continues through October, bringing his original music and catalogue of Bollywood hits to audiences across the country.
6. The Yellow Diary — In Case We Forget India Tour

The MICS Music Marathon brings 11 artists together across four shows over two days in Chennai, making for a multi-act showcase that spans different generations and sounds.
9. Shriya Rao — The Other Girl EP Release Tour
Sept. 27 — Mumbai
Shriya Rao brings her The Other Girl EP release tour to Mumbai, after having stopped over in Shillong and Guwahati as part of her first India tour.
10. Daria Kolosova — India Tour
Sept. 27 — Mumbai — antiSOCIAL
Ukrainian techno artist Daria Kolosova brings her India tour to Mumbai, with a set at antiSOCIAL for fans of the harder, more experimental end of contemporary club music.
11. Innellea — India Tour 2026
Oct. 2 — Goa
Oct. 3 — Bengaluru
German producer Innellea brings his melodic, atmospheric take on techno to India for two dates in Goa and Bengaluru at the start of October.
12. Casa Bacardí Festival
Oct. 3 – 4 — Dehradun — The Punarnava Resort
Casa Bacardí brings two days of electronic music to Dehradun, with Lost Frequencies, Maribou State, Moojo, Maxi Meraki, Nils Hoffmann, SOLTO, Nitefreak and Tech Panda x Kenzani among the acts on the lineup.
13. A.R. Rahman — The Wonderment Tour
Oct. 3 — Bengaluru — KTPO Grounds
A.R. Rahman brings The Wonderment Tour to Bengaluru, taking his catalogue to the stage in a large-scale live production built around his music and a full live ensemble.
14. Opeth — The Last Will and Testament Tour

Swedish progressive-metal veterans Opeth return to India for two dates, bringing their expansive blend of progressive rock and metal to Mumbai and Bengaluru.

19. Bangalore Open Air 2026

Bangalore Open Air returns with an international-heavy metal lineup featuring Carcass, Paradise Lost, 1349, Nervosa, Thy Art Is Murder and The Ocean, alongside Indian acts including The Down Troddence and Midhaven.

BURPP Fest brings two days of music and culture to Guwahati, with DIVINE, Lucky Ali, The Yellow Diary, Tsumyoki, Yung Sammy and more spread across the weekend.
