Last week was packed for the Indian music industry, with one of the biggest music conferences of the country being held in Mumbai. To kick the week off, Priyanka Khimani (Founder, Khimani & Associates and Women of Music India) and Aayushman Sinha (Founder and CEO, Represent) co-hosted a mixer on August 24, 2026, in Mumbai. Sounds Australia, an Australian company globally promoting songs and artists from Australia, partnered with them on the event. The event showcased talent from the scene.
The star-studded night was attended by several industry stalwarts including Mohit Bijlani, Co-founder, Team Innovation, Naman Pugalia, CBO, BookMyShow, Padmanabhan NS, Head of Artist & Label Partnerships, Spotify India, and Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO, Collective Artists Network. Artists in attendance included Paresh Pahuja, Lisa Mishra, Navjot Ahuja, Jasleen Royal, and Outstation.
A key highlight of the evening was the artist showcase. Featuring powerful performances by artist Devashri Manohar, Telugu singer-songwriter Damini Bhatla and Punjabi pop singer Jai Dhir, the night ended with electronic artist BeatCrush at the console.
