1. Rolling Loud is back in Mumbai on Dec 12-13
International hip-hop festival Rolling Loud debuted with a bang in India in 2025. It was Don Toliver’s first show in India, with Karan Aujla becoming the first Indian artist to headline a Rolling Loud edition. Other artists included Wiz Khalifa, Hanumankind, NAV, Reble, Sambata and Wild Wild Women. The expectations are set for 2026, and the festival is set to return to Mumbai on December 12 and 13.
2. Gorillaz announces a new show in Guwahati on January 31
Virtual band Gorillaz are set to make their India debut in January 2027. After the much-anticipated Bengaluru and Mumbai show announcements, the band has added a third city: Guwahati on January 31. As part of the show, Indian collaborators on their new album Parvat or The Mountain are expected to join the band on stage. Tickets for the Guwahati concert go live on September 15.
3. Suno launches ‘V6’, a new model made with licensed music
Amidst several lawsuits from music labels like Universal Music Group, Sony Music and Koda, AI music company Suno has launched its latest model ‘V6’. The company says it has “partnered with” big music groups like Warner Music Group, Believe and BMG for the new model. In a first, music companies are set to earn compensation from Suno. As part of the new rollout, Suno will be shutting down its previous models which were made without licensed music.
