Today’s Beat Drop features “Teri Sexy Beauty”, the fifth song released from Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh-starrer Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. On November 4, Khan premiered the song at 5:14 AM via an X post that said “Departure time 5:12 am…. Flight on time , 2 pegs down taking off with my sexy beauty… pata nahi kahaan mai land karoon.”
The track features Khan on vocals alongside Muskaan, marking his return to film playback singing after 11 years. His last such outing was “Main Hoon Hero Tera” from the 2015 film Hero.
“Teri Sexy Beauty” is a playful, blues-leaning number, built around electric guitars and horns. Khan keeps his vocal delivery simple and unassuming, while the arrangement gives the song a distinctly different feel from the more conventional Bollywood dance numbers. Its lyrics play on the idea of being swept away by someone’s beauty, with a cheeky reference to taking off after a couple of drinks.
While Maatrubhumi is billed as a Himesh Reshammiya musical, “Teri Sexy Beauty” is composed and written by Sajid Khan. The song also features additional vocals by Khan.
